Regional Product Manager, Polyolefins

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Development and oversight of product portfolios from suppliers and leading polyolefin manufacturers within the DACH region.

• Collaboration with European Product Management to execute market and product strategies.

• Assistance to sales teams in specified product and application areas.

• Management of key customers in the region.

• Identification of growth prospects and maintenance of a robust commercial presence.

• Provision of initial technical guidance to sales teams and customers regarding product selection, market, and application.

• Communication of success stories and product benefits across the region.

• Involvement in commercial planning and budgeting activities.

• Monitoring the performance of assigned product categories to ensure targets are achieved.

• Supply of market insights for budget planning and sales initiatives.

• Acting as an interface between regional sales teams and suppliers.

• Translating product strategies into actionable regional plans.

• Aligning pricing, product availability, and customer needs regionally.

• Preparing accurate sales and demand forecasts to aid in supply chain planning and product availability.

• Contributing to demand planning and risk management strategies.

• Fostering cross-functional collaboration and alignment on common goals.

• Coaching and mentoring team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree or training in business administration, engineering, chemistry, or a similar field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or technical product roles involving technical functions.

• Capability to influence across various functions and countries and to implement objectives effectively.

• Strong and clear communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in data analysis.

• Ability to manage complex and competing priorities while being results-oriented and responsive.

• A hands-on approach and a strong service orientation.

• Fluent in both German and English.

• Experience in a matrix organization is a plus.

• Willingness to travel within the DACH region and to European meetings up to 50% of the time.
