This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Inspire and guide Local Coordinators to achieve timely, high-quality placements and meet placement targets within the designated region.
• Liaise with Local Coordinators and their respective schools as necessary regarding student registration or enrollment processes.
• Allocate student profiles to Local Coordinators as required.
• Equip Local Coordinators with training to enhance their self-sufficiency utilizing the provided resources.
• Achieve or surpass the assigned target for student placements within set deadlines.
• Utilize available resources to formulate strategies for Local Coordinators in recruiting host families, and assist them through innovative outreach and marketing efforts.
• Manage the student and host family matching process within a specific region.
• Ensure that Local Coordinators have access to the necessary marketing materials.
• Establish and nurture new relationships with high schools.
• Supply Local Coordinators with tools, resources, and ongoing support for host family recruitment throughout the student placement process.
• Collaborate with the Program Support Specialist to co-manage, lead, mentor, and coach the Local Coordinators in the region.
• Work in close partnership with the Program Support Specialist to ensure compliance with all requirements and paperwork for placements.
• Team up with the Training Manager to guarantee that Local Coordinators receive comprehensive training and address areas of need as they emerge.
• Demonstrated experience in leading, mentoring, or managing teams, particularly within education, youth programs, or nonprofit organizations.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to effectively juggle multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of building trust and motivating diverse stakeholders.
• A collaborative and flexible approach, focused on problem-solving and achieving results.
• Experience in outreach, community engagement, or marketing strategies, especially related to volunteer recruitment.
• Knowledge of U.S. high school systems and/or international student exchange programs is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficient in utilizing digital tools and platforms for communication, tracking, and training purposes.
• A genuine passion for intercultural exchange and a strong dedication to youth development and global citizenship.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned region as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
