This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the design and execution of operational processes and procedures for regional online educational institutions.
• Ensure adherence to regulations set forth by sponsors, the board of education, and state legislation.
• Supervise student records management, local and state assessments, attendance tracking, truancy follow-up, as well as office and facility administration.
• Address and manage escalated issues for staff, students, and families concerning school procedures, technology systems, and resources.
• Act as a liaison between school staff and the regional team to identify operational requirements and create corresponding school-level procedures.
• Participate in school leadership teams at designated schools.
• Create, document, and electronically store operational procedures and workflows.
• Review procedures and pinpoint opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
• Keep track of department of education regulations, compliance requirements, and state educational laws.
• Manage student information in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Coordinate communications with external vendors as necessary.
• Execute other assigned responsibilities.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Preferred 5-7 years of experience in Operations Management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.
• Strong skills in spreadsheets, including basic and intermediate formulas and functions.
• Prior experience in an educational environment is preferred.
• Experience in managing compliance with laws and regulations is preferred.
• Familiarity with creating and documenting procedures and workflows.
• Ability to responsibly handle confidential information and maintain discretion.
• A reliable, dependable, and trustworthy work ethic.
• Capability to manage challenging or emotional client situations.
• Ability to make informed decisions after gathering relevant information.
• A mature perspective on issues that impact the department, oneself, and/or the organization.
