This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Cultivates professional relationships and engages with national and regional Scientific Leaders (SLs) to ensure access to company-sanctioned medical and scientific information regarding therapeutic interests and Company products.
β’ Conducts peer-to-peer scientific discussions and establishes a dependable presence with SLs to ensure they have a medical point of contact within the organization.
β’ Addresses scientific inquiries and directs SL questions regarding topics outside the scope (e.g., grants) to the appropriate company resources in line with applicable policies.
β’ Maintains up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the evolving scientific and clinical landscape within the Company's Areas of Interest (AOI) specific to your therapeutic domain.
β’ Initiates conversations with SLs and/or potential investigators that involve scientific/data exchange within our AOI to assess alignment with our research strategies, study concepts, scientific merit, and qualifications for a specific compound or trial.
β’ Enhances understanding of the scientific principles and objectives of investigator-sponsored research.
β’ Identifies obstacles to patient enrollment and retention efforts to meet study milestones.
β’ Recommends study sites and identifies potential investigators for participation in phase II-IV clinical development programs, conducts Site Initiation Visits (SIVs), and identifies barriers to patient enrollment and retention efforts to achieve study milestones.
β’ Responds to inquiries from investigators and provides information related to involvement in Company-sponsored clinical studies.
β’ Participates in scientific congresses and medical meetings, facilitating the exchange of scientific and data information for both Company and competitor data.
β’ Collects feedback, data, or information during routine activities that can assist the company in better understanding the medical or scientific needs, priorities, or concerns of SLs and/or patients.
β’ PhD, PharmD, DNP, DO, or MD.
β’ Demonstrated expertise and three years of relevant Immunology (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) experience beyond that acquired in the terminal degree program.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Ability to engage in doctoral-level discussions with key external stakeholders.
β’ Commitment to scientific excellence with a strong emphasis on scientific education and dialogue.
β’ Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and networking abilities.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and other ethical guidelines, laws, and regulations pertinent to the pharmaceutical industry and its clients.
β’ Capability to organize, prioritize, and work efficiently in a constantly evolving environment.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, OneNote).
β’ Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms.
