This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• You will be tasked with engaging key thought leaders through medical affairs initiatives, aligning with the overarching strategic plan.
• Your responsibilities will include executing the strategic medical affairs plan, encompassing medical education, product education, medical evidence generation, advisory boards, pre-license activities, and special projects.
• As a therapeutic area scientific expert, you will discuss scientific data related to products on both proactive and reactive bases, covering patient treatment trends and studies within the therapeutic areas relevant to the Company, targeting a defined audience of leading specialists (Physicians, Pharmacists, Hospital Managers, Board Members of Scientific Societies, and other Stakeholders), thereby establishing yourself as a trusted scientific counterpart.
• Collaborating with the therapy area lead, you will support optimal patient outcomes by communicating data, information, knowledge, and insights to meet healthcare professional needs and organizational objectives.
• You will represent the organization across various internal and external scientific platforms.
• Your role will involve gathering in-depth insights on disease trends and treatment patterns from key thought leaders, relaying this information to the therapy lead and commercial teams.
• You will be proactive in conducting disease trend analysis within identified disease segments, effectively contributing to the development of the annual Medical Affairs Strategy Plan.
• You will receive and process scientific information requests from physicians.
• Ensuring that all regional activities align with the organization’s COBE (Code of Business Ethics) Policy and compliance guidelines will be part of your responsibilities.
• Collaborating with thought leaders, you will conduct therapy-specific reviews, meta-analyses, case studies, case series, and patient-reported outcomes, with the aim of publishing these in reputable journals.
• You will devise an optimal training plan to ensure the sales and marketing teams are updated with the latest medical developments.
• Jointly with the therapy area lead, you will support optimal patient outcomes through effective communication of data, information, knowledge, and insights to fulfill healthcare professional needs and organizational goals.
• Developing the Medical Affairs strategic plan for designated therapeutic areas and products will also be one of your key responsibilities.
• MBBS with a full-time post-graduate qualification of at least 2 years in any discipline of medicine, or M.B.B.S. with an M.B.A. from a reputable institute.
• Fresh postgraduates or individuals with up to 2 years of experience in Field-based Medical Affairs are encouraged to apply.
• A strong academic background with comprehensive knowledge of the therapeutic area, coupled with expertise in research methodologies and medical data interpretation, is essential.
• You should possess scientific acumen and communication skills that facilitate acceptance by leading specialists in peer-to-peer relationships.
• Experience in complex business environments is preferred.
• A proven track record of success, as evidenced by annual performance ratings and/or professional achievements and awards, is required.
