This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Design and enhance national and regional marketing strategies that align with the Annual Strategic Brand Plans.
• Oversee projects through the promotional review process while adhering to regulatory standards and AbbVie protocols.
• Direct the strategy, execution, and budgeting for conventions, External Expert consultations, advisory boards, and peer-to-peer educational programs.
• Assess marketing strategies and suggest opportunities for brand enhancement.
• Offer insights on business inquiries to guide marketing strategy, resource allocation, and tactic development.
• Collaborate with field leadership to maximize the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
• Examine market drivers, competitive landscapes, provider dynamics, and competitive intelligence within the designated region.
• Manage deliverables among external vendors and internal teams.
• Cultivate and reinforce relationships with External Experts, rising leaders, and patient and professional associations.
• Create regional engagement plans for External Experts and ensure tactical implementation.
• Link AbbVie Integrated Brand Teams to collaborative opportunities based on shared goals and industry benchmarks.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Immunology (preferred).
• Prior experience in sales, sales management, or marketing.
• Previous experience in Gastroenterology (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience working with integrated, cross-functional teams and influencing others without direct authority.
• Capability to navigate matrix organizations both in the field and at headquarters.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Familiarity with regulations and standards governing pharmaceutical products.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Capacity to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and fulfill safe driving criteria.
• Ability to operate a personal vehicle, company car, truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods (over 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour workday).
