Regional Marketing Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and implement marketing strategies tailored to specific territories that enhance guest attendance, bookings, and revenue, in line with brand guidelines and national campaign objectives.

• Adapt national promotions, seasonal initiatives, and membership/loyalty programs to fit the distinct guest demographics and competitive environment of each market.

• Act as the principal marketing representative in the field, collaborating with venue General Managers and Regional Operations to ensure effective in-venue execution and enhance guest experiences.

• Quickly assess and respond to local market changes, competitive actions, and emerging opportunities.

• Take local responsibility for venue traffic performance metrics, including reserved play, walk-in visits, frequency of returns, and spend-per-visit.

• Create targeted promotions and local offers to boost demand during slower periods and take advantage of peak opportunities like summer and holiday seasons.

• Launch and promote the seasonal pass program within the territory, optimizing awareness and conversion both online and in-venue.

• Collaborate with venue teams to improve the guest experience from booking through to the in-bay experience.

• Drive membership and loyalty program acquisition and engagement, particularly targeting avid golfers and frequent guests.

• Implement locally relevant strategies to market membership and seasonal pass offers at venues with a strong golf-oriented guest base.

• Work with marketing and CRM teams to deliver tailored messaging to appropriate guest segments via the right local channels.

• Provide on-the-ground guest feedback and market insights to shape membership and loyalty strategies.

• Identify and nurture local partnerships, sponsorships, and cross-promotions with businesses, golf clubs, sports organizations, and community entities.

• Develop relationships with local media, influencers, and community leaders to enhance brand visibility.

• Support golf-focused activations and industry collaborations that strengthen ties with the passionate golf community.

• Utilize local sports, entertainment, and community events calendars to craft timely, revenue-generating promotions.

• Supervise local digital marketing initiatives, including paid social, local search/SEO, email, and geo-targeted advertising in collaboration with the performance marketing team.

• Oversee the venue's social media presence, ensuring that content remains on-brand, locally relevant, and encourages engagement and conversion.

• Maintain a consistent and compelling brand voice across digital, social, PR, and in-venue platforms.

• Identify and collaborate with local content creators and brand advocates to enhance organic reach.

• Track and analyze key performance indicators for the territory, including traffic patterns, campaign ROI, membership acquisition, and guest satisfaction.

• Utilize analytics tools, CRM data, and local market research to make informed decisions and optimize expenditures.

• Adopt a test-and-learn approach, trialing new local strategies and sharing best practices with the broader field marketing team.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of marketing experience with a proven record in local, field, or regional marketing roles; experience in multi-unit hospitality, entertainment, restaurant, or retail sectors is highly desirable.

• Established history of achieving measurable revenue and traffic outcomes at the market level through integrated marketing efforts.

• Strong expertise in digital marketing channels, including paid social, local SEO, email, and digital advertising platforms.

• Experience in managing CRM systems and utilizing data and guest segmentation to create targeted, conversion-oriented campaigns.

• Capability to handle multiple concurrent campaigns and venue priorities within a defined territory with minimal supervision.

• Strong local presence and relationship-building abilities, with experience in developing local partnerships, sponsorships, and media relations.

• A collaborative partner to operations teams, who can influence without direct authority and align venue teams with marketing strategies.

• Experience with membership-driven businesses or loyalty program activation is advantageous.

• Knowledge or enthusiasm for the golf entertainment sector is a plus, although not mandatory.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is required; an MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
