This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Direct oversight of EMS Territory Managers within a designated region of the country.
• Maintain a constructive attitude and uphold objectivity.
• Surpass regional sales targets for hardware and disposable sales quotas as well as overall revenue goals.
• Manage discounts and expenses to enhance ZOLL’s profitability.
• Recruit, train, retain, and promote skilled sales professionals.
• Cultivate a collaborative team atmosphere within your region.
• Communicate, execute, and oversee the EMS Strategic Plan.
• Develop Territory Managers through coaching and positive reinforcement.
• Spend approximately three days each week in the field with your Territory Managers.
• Establish expectations for the Territory Managers and ensure accountability for their performance.
• Maintain, manage, and update your regional book of business to guarantee quota fulfillment by all reporting Territory Managers.
• Ensure Territory Managers submit required reports, including but not limited to weekly expense reports, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and timely activity updates.
• Oversee Territory Managers in providing necessary in-service education to clients.
• Ensure Territory Managers carry out the appropriate technical scope review before making a sale.
• Oversee Territory Managers in maintaining and tracking demo and evaluation inventory and documenting its usage in Salesforce.com.
• Serve as a company expert and resource on both ZOLL and competitive products.
• Master the Miller Heiman Conceptual and Strategic Selling skills, applying these concepts in your opportunity management with each Territory Manager in your region.
• Responsible for reinforcing product knowledge and positioning strategies in the field.
• Represent ZOLL in a professional and ethical manner.
• Lead by example, motivating and inspiring your team.
• Foster open communication and share information with others.
• Analyze and report on trends observed within your region.
• Preferred: College degree.
• 5 to 10+ years of experience in sales and/or sales management is required.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Ability to engage in strategic planning.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of ZOLL and competitive positioning strategies.
