Regional Health and Wellness Director, RN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Offer clinical guidance and support to community Health and Wellness Directors and healthcare personnel

• Perform regular site evaluations to review clinical operations, resident care, and adherence to regulations

• Oversee resident assessments, care plans, documentation, medication administration, and clinical workflows

• Advise communities on intricate clinical matters, changes in resident health, medication management, and care coordination

• Ensure the uniform application of clinical policies, procedures, and best practices throughout the region

• Confirm that communities adhere to federal, state, and local regulations regarding resident care

• Execute audits and assist with regulatory surveys and inspections

• Identify opportunities for clinical enhancement and implement strategies to elevate outcomes

• Monitor and analyze clinical quality indicators

• Provide education and training on clinical best practices, regulations, and company policies

• Develop and implement training programs at the regional level

• Act as a clinical resource for community staff

• Advocate for resident dignity, independence, choice, and satisfaction

• Address resident and family inquiries regarding clinical care

• Coordinate resident health care with physicians and other providers

• Lead, mentor, and coach Health and Wellness Directors

• Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of clinical personnel

• Collaborate with regional leaders on clinical and operational objectives

• Represent the organization’s clinical philosophy and standards to external stakeholders

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with an active, unencumbered license in the state(s) of employment

• 5 to 10 years of experience in senior living, assisted living, or long-term care, including progressive clinical leadership roles

• Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations concerning senior living and resident care

• Proficient in clinical assessment, care planning, and medication management

• Exceptional leadership, management, and supervisory abilities

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving talents

• Capacity to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities

• Familiarity with PCC, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and related technologies

• Willingness to travel frequently within the designated region

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and reach

• Capability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds with assistance

• Strong manual dexterity for administering medication and charting

• Clear verbal communication, acute close-task vision, and ability to hear alarms and instructions

• Quick mobility for emergency response throughout the facility
