This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Serve as the H&S Lead within the region, offering support to local H&S Representatives and forums. Deliver H&S assistance and expert advice while enhancing the H&S profile internally among colleagues and the broader business.
• Drive the execution of the H&S policy, framework, objectives, and outcomes within the designated region.
• Assist in managing Health & Safety systems to ensure that workplace operations are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Conduct targeted H&S audits as part of a defined audit program and during H&S incident investigations.
• Support compliance with audit requirements and statutory inspections.
• Provide local coaching and guidance, promoting a strong safety culture on-site.
• Aid in H&S incident investigation processes within the region, offering support and direction to Area Managers, Directors, and Clinics for the investigations they oversee, while providing assistance to the relevant practices.
• Reduce the risk of accidents and incidents and effectively manage regional risks through thorough evaluation of incident data.
• Ensure a safe working environment that complies with all legal requirements in the region by implementing appropriate risk assessments, procedures, and training.
• Collaborate with safety representatives and regional teams within the specified geographic area of operations.
• Support H&S team briefings, health and safety awareness initiatives, or other training as needed.
• Coordinate all outcomes from regional activities back to central H&S functions to facilitate a consistent approach to the national H&S delivery model.
• NEBOSH General Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrated experience in a multi-site, customer-facing, or clinical environment.
• Strong understanding of UK H&S legislation and its practical application.
• Proficient in risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety auditing.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clinical teams and operational leaders.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively throughout the region.
