Regional Focal Point, Business Development – EMEA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lebanon.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the regional growth and diversification of revenue from institutional donors, foundations, the private sector, and other funding sources to meet CRS' strategic goals.

• Work closely with regional leadership and country teams to ensure effective resource mobilization for programming in the area.

• Formulate and ensure that regional resource mobilization strategies are closely aligned with the agency's overarching strategy.

• Partner with country teams and regional leadership to create resource mobilization plans.

• Conduct research and analyze insights regarding overall funding trends and emerging business opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in International Development, International Relations, or another relevant field.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in international development.

• Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in International Development, International Relations, or a related field, along with at least three years of experience in a developing country.

• Proven experience in crafting resource mobilization strategies and nurturing relationships with donors and partners.

• Demonstrated ability to manage a multi-year opportunity pipeline and make strategic go/no-go decisions.

• Experience in leading and producing competitive proposals in contexts similar to those encountered at CRS.

• Familiarity with grants, contracts, and co-creation funding mechanisms.

• Experience in identifying and establishing new funding opportunities in collaboration with donors, including emerging or non-traditional donors.

• Proven track record in managing teams and processes to deliver high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
