Regional Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Operations Teams to create financial analyses and reports for planning and performance assessment.

• Manage month-end closing procedures and conduct variance analysis in relation to forecasts and plans.

• Evaluate labor, direct-cost productivity, revenue, operational expenses, and profit discrepancies.

• Supervise base-unit bookkeepers to ensure comprehensive and precise financial reporting and internal controls.

• Work alongside operations teams to enhance profitable growth via productivity and revenue increases.

• Oversee compliance with contract results, modifications to scope, and annual contract escalations.

• Train, coach, develop, and mentor operations managers and unit bookkeepers regarding financial reporting systems and their responsibilities.

• Assist in client meetings, quarterly business reviews, and budget presentations.

• Offer analytical support and pro forma creation for new business initiatives and client retention strategies.

• Coordinate monthly forecasts and assist with the annual budgeting process.

• Analyze and address client inquiries effectively.

• Create and submit monthly business-unit contract invoices.

• Aid in accounts-receivable collections, inventory management, and capital expenditure oversight.

• Support internal and government audits as required.

• Generate ad hoc reports and supply historical, current, and projected financial/statistical data for senior management.

• Execute special projects and analyses as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of practical accounting/finance experience with increasing analytical responsibilities.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance/accounting is required.

• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.

• Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Good judgment and the capacity to prioritize multiple projects while collaborating with account management and senior leadership.

• Highly organized, self-driven, quick to learn, and flexible in adapting to new challenges.

• Compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and financial controls/processes.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Familiarity with Oracle Discoverer is advantageous.

• May require travel 2–4 times per year.
