Regional Environmental, Health & Safety Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Oversee the execution and ongoing enhancement of EHS programs, policies, and procedures at designated locations.

• Perform site audits, inspections, and risk assessments to guarantee compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other relevant regulations.

• Collaborate with regional and local leadership to identify safety patterns, devise corrective actions, and track performance metrics.

• Assist in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the formulation of corrective and preventive measures.

• Facilitate and coordinate EHS training sessions, including new hire orientation, safety meetings, and specialized regulatory training.

• Supervise environmental programs encompassing waste management, spill prevention, and sustainability initiatives.

• Administer EHS data reporting and ensure precise tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Act as a subject matter expert for regional leadership and field operations regarding EHS issues.

• Foster employee engagement and accountability for safety through proactive communication, coaching, and acknowledgment.

• Work together with corporate EHS to ensure regional programs align with company-wide strategies and compliance objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive experience in EHS, including multi-site or regional management.

• In-depth understanding of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.

• Demonstrated capability to lead, influence, and promote cultural change across diverse teams.

• Strong communication, presentation, and analytical abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

• Professional certifications such as CSP, CHMM, or CIH.
