This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Lead the planning of territories, development of pipelines, and management of performance throughout the region.
• Provide effective coaching, counseling, training, and development for all team members.
• Promote continuous improvement through the company's performance management and personal development processes, along with sales-oriented mentoring programs.
• Supervise market analysis, forecasting, budget management, and customer strategies.
• Formulate and implement regional sales strategies, encompassing pricing, promotions, product mix, and long-term growth plans.
• Identify opportunities to enhance market share and bolster competitive positioning.
• Forecast, negotiate significant deals, analyze sales metrics, and work collaboratively across teams to execute strategic initiatives.
• Evaluate, appoint, and manage distributors to ensure effective market penetration.
• Foster distributor competency development and support joint customer development initiatives.
• Monitor distributor health, including pipeline discipline, conversion rates, market coverage, and financial hygiene.
• Collaborate across functions with marketing, supply chain, product management, and finance to fulfill account requirements and internal capabilities.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the opportunity funnel in Salesforce; provide weekly and monthly reports on pipeline health, forecast accuracy, opportunity status, and competitive actions.
• Proactively communicate risks and shipment delays to leadership.
• Ensure an exceptional customer experience through prompt responsiveness and seamless collaboration across functions; influence both technical and business stakeholders.
• Track market trends, competitor activities, pricing dynamics, and product gaps; offer insights for leadership and engage in new product development discussions.
• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive industrial B2B sales leadership experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
