Regional Director, RLS Operations – West

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete regional P&L, encompassing revenue growth, margin enhancement, cost structure, and capital deployment across all designated pharmacy locations.

• Formulate and implement the regional growth strategy, which includes market expansion, new site development, capacity optimization, and prioritization of customer segments in alignment with enterprise objectives.

• Collaborate closely with Pharmacy Managers, Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and other departments to identify and act on opportunities that enhance margin, throughput, and productivity. Hold Pharmacy Managers accountable for meeting financial, operational, and quality targets by establishing clear performance expectations and driving accountability through a structured operating cadence, while providing strategic guidance, performance monitoring, and escalation support.

• Ensure the consistent application of operational standards, workflows, and best practices throughout the region. Utilize data and performance metrics to identify trends, address gaps, and implement corrective actions. Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships to proactively resolve issues, eliminate obstacles, and support sustainable regional growth.

• Build and lead a high-performing leadership team across the region, ensuring robust succession pipelines and scalable leadership capabilities.

• Act as a significant contributor to the enterprise operations strategy, offering insights into network design, evolution of the operating model, and long-term growth planning.

• Influence and prioritize capital investment decisions across the region, including facility enhancements, equipment upgrades, and expansion initiatives to foster growth and operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred (in business, healthcare, operations, or a related field).

• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, pharmacy operations, manufacturing, or similarly regulated environments.

• Demonstrated capability in leading multi-site or regional operations with complete P&L accountability.

• Proven track record of driving business growth, margin improvement, and operational transformation across distributed teams.

• Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally (e.g., Pharmacy, Operations, Finance, Quality, Compliance) to achieve results.

• Comprehensive working knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in a highly regulated environment.

• Experience in developing leaders and creating internal and external talent pipelines.
