This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Lead a regional sales team to successfully achieve designated goals and objectives.
• Ensure adherence to Regeneron policies and programs that regulate field sales activities.
• Meet or surpass assigned sales performance targets.
• Align account plans with brand strategic initiatives.
• Direct the hiring, training, coaching, performance evaluation, and development of the regional sales team.
• Communicate expectations regarding the use of approved promotional materials.
• Ensure team members are trained and effectively implement customer education strategies.
• Share current industry insights and competitor product knowledge with regional teams.
• Ensure appropriate participation in industry meetings and conferences.
• Analyze sales and customer data to allocate regional resources effectively.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners on business strategies that support brand objectives.
• Establish cross-functional partnerships and utilize regional resources to influence customer behavior.
• Oversee customer relationships and manage key current and prospective customer interactions.
• Build and maintain relationships with therapeutic leaders in the region.
• Report to the Sales Director, Ophthalmology, with Medical Specialists reporting to this position.
• A Bachelor's Degree is required.
• At least 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in regional and/or line sales management is preferred.
• Experience with biologics and buy-and-bill products, or significant relevant experience in the Retina field is required.
• Must reside in or be located near New York and New Jersey.
• Relocation assistance will not be provided.
