This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Develop and nurture a high-integrity, high-quality sales team while providing overall leadership to the group.
• Accountable for achieving and surpassing assigned sales targets, ensuring that action plans align with the brand's strategic initiatives.
• Oversee regional sales force activities, including recruitment, training, performance assessment, and development, while ensuring adherence to corporate policies.
• Guarantee that every team member is trained in and effectively applies customer education.
• Relay the latest insights about the industry and competitor products to regional teams.
• Facilitate participation in industry-related trade shows, meetings, conferences, and similar events.
• Evaluate sales and customer data to ensure optimal resource allocation in the region.
• Manage and allocate the region's budget and the use of promotional resources effectively.
• Maintain strong, consistent performance that meets or exceeds brand objectives and product sales targets while demonstrating accountability for all outcomes.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A Master’s degree or other advanced education/certification is advantageous, especially with a focus on science or clinical experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry is necessary.
• A minimum of 5 years in sales leadership or management, with at least 3 years at the Regional Director or District Manager level in the Oncology field, preferably Hematology.
• Required experience with Biologics and buy-and-bill products, or relevant strong experience in the Oncology sector.
• Experience in hematology oncology is a significant plus.
• A proven track record of success and integrity as a Regional Director or District Manager in complex markets and systems is essential.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills; must be an effective team player who can build credibility and confidence.
• Strong capability to collaborate and partner with other internal field teams and alliance partners.
