This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Regional Director of Financial Aid plays a pivotal role in managing the daily operations of the Financial Aid (FA) department.
• Responsible for overseeing policy interpretation, procedural adherence, and regulatory compliance while leading a team of Financial Aid Officers and support staff.
• Develop and execute both short-term and long-term strategies and objectives aimed at enhancing student retention and overall experience.
• Spearhead significant projects and pinpoint opportunities for organizational enhancements.
• Ensure clarity and collaboration across departments in all initiatives, with a strong emphasis on quality assurance.
• Collaborate with campus leadership and staff to guarantee alignment on financial aid strategies.
• Identify, recruit, and retain exceptional talent.
• Maintain operational efficiency while offering mentorship, professional growth, and coaching.
• Supervise initial approval for VA benefits across all assigned campus locations, ensure timely certification of all VA benefits, and conduct annual training for School Certifying Officials (SCO).
• Evaluate team data and metrics to implement changes that align with organizational objectives.
• At least 7 years of experience in Title IV aid administration.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Financial Aid, including at least 4 years in a leadership role managing Financial Aid professionals.
• High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to drive task execution and organizational change.
• Willingness to travel out-of-state up to 5 times per year.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
