This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +4 more states.
• Oversee the productivity of Business Development Managers by boosting sales to independent dealers and fleets.
• Expand the region's customer base and enhance customer loyalty to promote unit and revenue growth.
• Support and enhance NTW's selling and marketing strategies.
• Assist customers in improving their businesses by utilizing available tools and resources.
• Collaborate with Distribution Center personnel to hold Business Development Managers accountable.
• Increase sales offerings by acquiring new accounts and enhancing share of existing customers.
• Partner with suppliers to expand the Associate Dealer count and ensure adherence to program compliance and dealer objectives.
• Facilitate effective cooperation between Business Development Managers and Distribution Center staff.
• Promote and cultivate marketing initiatives.
• Create tailored business plans to achieve set targets.
• Ensure the BDM team maintains accountability for opportunity and call tracking in Salesforce.com.
• Act as the voice of the customer and the marketplace.
• Develop, mentor, motivate, attract, and retain Business Development Managers.
• Foster regular two-way communication.
• Travel with Business Development Managers to address customer concerns.
• Identify Individual Development Plans and make sure required training is scheduled and completed.
• Regularly assess recruitment needs.
• Set and accomplish regional sales metrics.
• Proven sales experience with a strong track record in building sales teams.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient presentation and platform skills.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Previous experience as a Business Development Manager.
• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce.
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• B.A. or B.S. in Business, Sales, or Marketing is preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant business experience can substitute for a Bachelor’s degree.
• Willingness to travel overnight 25-50% of the time.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is advantageous.
• Strong business and financial insight.
• Comprehensive understanding of business processes and logistics operations.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Capability to collaborate across all departments and functions.
• Proficient in organizing and analyzing data.
• Strategic agility with the capability to execute strategic plans.
