This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Oversee the recruitment, coaching, development, and retention of exceptional talent, including managing performance, conducting compensation evaluations, and fostering employee engagement.
• Educate, inspire, and guide Account Managers within the designated regional area.
• Implement field strategies and marketing initiatives to achieve or surpass regional and national business goals.
• Engage in the formulation and execution of national sales strategies and tactics.
• Support the field infrastructure and training in alignment with the strategic business plan.
• Create and present business plans through regular discussions with corporate leadership.
• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the designated region, encompassing care delivery, key payers, and public policy movements.
• Recognize and tackle region-specific challenges and opportunities.
• Evaluate, analyze, and interpret field reports against quarterly and annual goals.
• Promote compliant innovation in field strategies while ensuring cross-functional collaboration with market access, medical affairs, government affairs, and other partners.
• Formulate and execute regional communication strategies.
• Plan and implement regional sales activities.
• Uphold integrity, sound judgment, and adherence to company policies.
• Oversee regional-level expenditures.
• Participate in or lead special project teams.
• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA).
• Over 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Minimum of 7 years in sales and/or field market access within biotech, specialty pharmaceutical, or device sectors.
• At least 5 years of experience in first-line sales and/or field market access management.
• Demonstrated sales or field market access success in specialty pharmacy markets, supported by market performance documentation and awards.
• Proven ability to build field-based teams and effectively coach and develop field professionals.
• Comprehensive understanding of reimbursement and insurance coverage for physician-administered treatments.
• Strong strategic vision, leadership capability, coaching skills, accountability, adaptability, business insight, judgment, and collaborative spirit.
• Experience in leading teams within intricate distribution models, such as Specialty Pharmacy and Buy & Bill acquisition.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication, presentation, planning, and operational skills.
• Proficient in recruiting, coaching, and mentoring talent.
• Team-oriented mindset with operational values and collaborative skills.
• Strong work ethic and dedication to achieving excellence.
• High ethical standards and a commitment to compliance.
• Willingness to travel regionally and nationally as required, up to 50–60% of the time.
• Passion for enhancing healthcare for patients dealing with substance use or mental health challenges.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and/or experience in start-up environments.
