This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Partners to establish and oversee a sales pipeline aimed at reaching revenue objectives.
• Create program goals and jointly develop business plans with partners to fulfill revenue commitments.
• Lead the business planning process and conduct quarterly reviews.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of partner forecasts in collaboration with partners.
• Oversee the complete process from sales initiation through to delivery.
• Utilize Salesforce to bolster sales generation initiatives.
• Engage with existing and prospective partners to comprehend their current offerings and adapt them to include MetTel products as core offerings or specialized practices.
• Work alongside partners on account mapping, marketing strategies, and facilitate MetTel Sales partnerships.
• Propel partner marketing initiatives to create additional revenue streams.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to support partner-driven events, leveraging field marketing resources and presenting these initiatives to both prospective and participating channel partners.
• Ensure partner technical skill enhancement for achieving success, while onboarding new potential partners by effectively showcasing MetTel's value proposition.
• Advocate for the partnership, highlighting the joint value proposition with sales teams to promote awareness and collaboration, thereby reducing sales conflicts.
• Manage conflicts within the channel and sales processes.
• 5-6 years of experience in a Channel Sales role, complemented by a BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in both direct sales and channel sales.
• Expertise in the State and Local Government vertical sales channel.
• Proficient in using Salesforce.com to manage company operations.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and act on go-to-market strategies, marketing initiatives, joint value propositions, and business cases.
• Strong expertise in developing, executing, and driving solutions selling and product marketing for enterprise software, particularly in the context of significant partnerships.
• Effective cross-functional influence, relationship-building, and project management skills with a diverse range of stakeholders, including customers, channel partners, sales, marketing, and technical management.
• A team player who is eager to take on leadership roles to drive initiatives, collaborate across organizations, and devise strategies for new opportunities.
• Strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with selling software or computer-related products, with a particular focus on web infrastructure security.
