This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.
• Assist in the development, enhancement, and implementation of compensation philosophy and benefits harmonization programs, policies, and procedures.
• Actively conduct market research and provide analytical insights to inform design discussions.
• Suggest improvements based on emerging global and regional trends, regulatory requirements, and benchmarking insights.
• Aid the global compensation team in managing base compensation, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, and recognition programs.
• Support annual compensation cycles, including merit, bonus, and equity planning activities.
• Generate reports, analytics, dashboards, modeling, and presentations.
• Collaborate with various internal key stakeholders on job evaluations, salary range placement, offer construction, and internal equity analysis.
• Ensure compensation programs adhere to local employment laws, statutory requirements, and internal governance standards.
• Assist with audits and documentation related to compensation programs.
• Perform compensation benchmarking utilizing regional market surveys to ensure competitive salary ranges and job structures.
• Track market trends, pay transparency, equal pay, and other regulatory changes in EMEA and APAC, assessing their impact on compensation practices.
• Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to the leadership team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in compensation and/or benefits program management; experience across multiple regions is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with the Deel platform is advantageous.
• Understanding of compensation and benefits regulations and compliance requirements across APAC and EMEA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience utilizing benchmarking data and compensation/benefits analytics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to simplify complex Total Rewards concepts.
