Regional Closing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the closing request pipeline and manage the rush request inbox to guarantee timely closings.

• Offer support and training to the Closing team.

• Establish guidelines for the Closing team that align with investor, agency, federal, and state regulations.

• Create and implement workflows to enhance productivity and efficiency.

• Generate and present reports to senior management that monitor productivity, quality, and efficiency.

• Collaborate with the delivery teams to ensure the funded pipeline is purchased promptly.

• Cultivate relationships with branch managers and the sales team, providing guidance as needed.

• Ensure the team meets acceptable turnaround requirements.

• Develop strategies to enhance operations and procedures.

• Track defects and trends in closing and formulate action plans for improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma/GED, or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree and/or a suitable combination of education and experience is preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience in mortgage closing.

• A minimum of 3 years of management experience in mortgage closing.

• Familiarity with state and federal laws related to the mortgage industry (e.g., RESPA, TILA, ECOA, etc.).

• Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Capability to close FHA/VA/USDA and Conventional loans in accordance with required guidelines.

• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills to manage operations for both short-term and strategic planning.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
