Regional Clinical Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee a substantial clinical team along with the strategic and tactical operations to drive business success while prioritizing patient care and outcomes.

• Articulate and convey the organization’s mission, vision, goals, and strategies to the field clinical team.

• Ensure the effectiveness of the field team through one-on-one travel and coaching sessions.

• Administer clinical outcomes by guaranteeing the use of best practices and ABIOMED clinical training for patient care.

• Manage and facilitate patient implant coverage along with customer communication.

• Ensure employee and customer competency through the development, retention, and performance management of the clinical team.

• Oversee the recruitment process of the clinical team, including the establishment of a recruiting pipeline.

• Manage the effective utilization of Per Diem staff.

⛳️ Requirements

• Clinical certification is mandatory.

• A minimum of 7 years of related experience in cardiology is required.

• At least 5 years of supervisory or management experience is preferred, or relevant experience with Abiomed.

• Experience in interventional cardiology is essential.

• Experience in a commercial setting is required.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.

• Sales experience is favored.

• Willingness to travel 50%–70% regularly within the region to meet with the field team and customers is required.

• Overnight travel is necessary.

• Must perform duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations governing the medical device industry.
