This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Provide leadership and direction to Regional Cardiovascular Leads, supporting customer engagement strategies.
• Recruit, nurture, and retain a high-performing team focused on customer satisfaction.
• Assess team effectiveness and performance to meet business objectives.
• Monitor customer interactions while offering training, coaching, counseling, and opportunities for reskilling and upskilling.
• Foster an environment of inclusivity, psychological safety, and a sense of belonging.
• Build connections with scientific and clinical leaders in the cardiovascular sector.
• Engage in sanctioned scientific discussions with customers and collect actionable insights.
• Participate in scientific conferences and society gatherings.
• Collaborate with customer-facing colleagues throughout the assigned region.
• Work alongside marketing and training teams to create engagement materials.
• Partner with regional teams and counterparts to identify significant issues and opportunities.
• Oversee and allocate resources and budgets to fulfill objectives and enhance return on investment.
• Make decisions regarding localized resource distribution.
• Discover opportunities to enhance business outcomes.
• Provide field and customer feedback to headquarters brand teams.
• Shape national strategies and tactics through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Create strategic plans utilizing insights from scientific and clinical leaders.
• Align with performance goals while monitoring and adjusting strategic plans as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to company practices, regulatory guidelines, legal requirements, and policies.
• Report directly to the Director of the Regional Cardiovascular Lead Team.
• Bachelor's degree with 6–8 years of sales experience, including team leadership.
• Equivalent leadership experience in the healthcare/scientific sector or professional marketing experience may be considered.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
• Capacity to comprehend, simplify, and communicate intricate scientific and public health concepts.
• Strong skills in collaboration and prioritization.
• Ability to contextualize decisions within broader corporate strategies.
• Proficiency in technology, including MS Office Suite and iPad.
• Valid driver's license and capability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region, including overnight trips.
• Readiness to attend scientific conferences and meetings at headquarters.
• Preferred: advanced degree, such as an MBA or PharmD.
• Preferred: 5+ years of current/recent experience in the cardiovascular market.
• Preferred: 5+ years of recent experience with cardiovascular products.
• Preferred: 3+ years of experience in engaging with scientific and clinical leaders in the healthcare sector.
