This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Take ownership of regional sales performance, ensuring that sales goals are met and aligned with financial objectives.
• Accurately forecast regional sales and manage budgets to ensure cost-effective use of resources.
• Integrate key business drivers, competitive intelligence, dashboard insights, and market dynamics into territory and account planning.
• Build and sustain strong, senior-level relationships with major customers and strategic accounts.
• Negotiate complex commercial agreements with significant customers to maximize revenue and long-term value.
• Lead the effective use of resources (sales, technical support) to achieve optimal account profitability and deliver value-added services to clients.
• Ensure maximum account penetration to strengthen customer relationships and broaden sales opportunities by driving regional segmentation initiatives.
• Oversee the deployment of sales and technical resources to provide value-added solutions and enhance account profitability.
• Identify, communicate, and anticipate customer needs; influence internal responses to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with cross-functional business teams (Sales, Marketing, Agronomy, Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure cohesive execution.
• Offer regional leadership and market insights to aid in the development of marketing initiatives, ensuring maximum ROI.
• Effectively communicate and implement FMC marketing strategies across the region.
• Select, develop, motivate, and manage regional sales personnel to ensure that departmental and business objectives are met.
• Foster a culture of leadership, teamwork, accountability, and performance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, or a related field is required.
• MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 6 years of sales and/or marketing or related experience is required.
• At least 2 years of commercial experience in a people management role.
• Capability to coach, develop, and manage the performance of sales professionals.
• Proficient with CRM systems, forecasting tools, and data-driven decision-making.
• Proven strategic, financial, and business acumen.
• A respectful attitude towards all levels within organizations.
• Experience in both sales and marketing is considered a plus.
• Willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time.
