This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead a team of highly skilled, knowledgeable, and motivated sales professionals who have a proven track record and a commitment to enhancing patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional commercial partners to establish yourself as a subject matter expert on the essential factors influencing launch success.
• Spearhead the creation of regional business plans in close alignment with cross-functional partners, detailing specific actions, timelines, and metrics for achieving set objectives.
• Identify customer requirements and leverage the company’s resources to address these needs effectively.
• Collaborate efficiently across field and home office teams to ensure a seamless experience for providers and their patients within the designated region.
• Provide insights on commercial strategy and aid in the development of resources, tools, and processes that are vital for field readiness, account execution, and the identification of suitable patients.
• Foster a culture of accountability and achievement within the regional team; establish clear performance expectations, including meeting business objectives and utilizing tools and resources in accordance with strategic goals.
• Monitor progress against goals, make adjustments as needed, and celebrate successes.
• Achieve and surpass business objectives through strategic planning, collaboration with partners, and optimal use of tools and resources for the flawless execution of strategic initiatives.
• Invest in the development of personnel and continuous improvement through effective leadership, ongoing coaching, and consistent performance management of direct reports.
• BS/BA degree in business, life sciences, or a related field.
• Advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA, MPH, PharmD, PhD).
• 12+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors, which includes:
• 3+ years of front-line malignant hematology sales experience.
• 5+ years of experience in leadership roles within malignant hematology or oncology sales.
• Knowledge of the distinct selling environment associated with oral oncolytic and/or rare disease therapies.
• Experience engaging with key customers and treatment centers, including KOLs, key account stakeholders, and major oncology institutions, is highly appreciated.
• Proven ability to achieve results in complex or competitive markets, with experience in preparing for and/or supporting a product launch.
• Capability to understand and coach through the sales cycle, including patient identification, building clinical conviction, overcoming access and reimbursement barriers, and navigating distribution channels.
• Understanding of and ability to collaborate effectively with key commercial functions, such as Marketing, Market Access, Sales Operations, Training, and Insights & Analytics.
• Proven ability to inspire and lead teams.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
