This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Manage the sales team consisting of Clinical Account Managers and Clinical Account Specialists within the Hematology sector.
• Enhance performance, stimulate demand, and promote a high-impact culture.
• Ensure effective implementation of launch strategies and follow-up commercial tactics.
• Achieve and surpass performance targets by leading with accountability, utilizing data-driven insights, and maintaining a patient-centered focus.
• Create and motivate a high-performing team by fostering an encouraging culture.
• Mentor for excellence through direct field observations, strategic coaching, and collaboration among peers.
• Evaluate and strategically plan in response to regional dynamics, pinpointing market growth opportunities.
• Establish robust customer relationships, comprehend evolving needs, and provide innovative solutions.
• Champion and guide the regional market-based ecosystem model while collaborating across various internal stakeholders.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree (MBA or related field) is preferred.
• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Extensive experience in account sales or related commercial leadership positions within hematology, rare diseases, or other specialized therapeutic areas.
• At least 5-10 years in sales, including 3+ years of field leadership experience with a proven track record of strong performance.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully drive product launches in team-selling environments.
• Proficient in developing and executing comprehensive account and market strategies informed by insights, competitive intelligence, and analytics.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% as dictated by the role.
