Regional Business Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Reporting to a US Oncology Divisional General Manager, Commercial, take on the commercial leadership role for designated key accounts.

• Formulate and implement account plans, providing comprehensive account leadership.

• Mentor cross-functional team members.

• Create a strategic account plan for assigned accounts.

• Organize and allocate the necessary resources within SANOFI to foster value co-creation with customers and achieve or surpass revenue targets.

• Identify and evaluate opportunities within accounts and devise growth strategies.

• Facilitate strategy sessions with account teams to promote customer value co-creation.

• Lead a team of Area Business Managers, ensuring effective field execution and continuous professional development.

• Maintain ongoing compliance and accountability for business outcomes.

• Oversee regional expenses within the allocated budget.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; MBA is preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in people management and the industry within hematology/oncology is strongly preferred.

• Strong leadership abilities are essential.

• Must be an experienced sales executive and a proven leader with advanced sales management skills.

• Experience in both major pharmaceutical and biotech companies is advantageous.

• Experience in selling an oncologic product and familiarity with the “buy and bill” reimbursement process is highly preferred.

• Must possess strong collaboration skills and have experience working in a fast-paced, execution-oriented environment.

• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills are required.

• Ability to participate in and lead cross-functional teams to achieve results through collaboration with other commercial functions.

• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel up to 50% for regional business.
