This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Engage in strategic planning meetings with the Technical and Sales Management team on a quarterly and annual basis to formulate a local sales strategy aimed at revenue generation.
• Convey sales strategies to team members within your regions.
• Identify required resources to support sales initiatives and create a proposed budget for review by Senior Management.
• Keep senior management updated on critical issues and changes that could affect anticipated business outcomes.
• Select, develop, and assess personnel to ensure that departmental and regional objectives are achieved.
• Provide direction on strategic, programmatic, and project initiatives.
• Achieve quarterly and annual quota targets in collaboration with the Sales organization.
• Employ the sales process to formulate account plans in partnership with the Sales organization.
• Manage and prioritize sales opportunities effectively.
• Serve as a thought leader within Optiv and the Security sector.
• Acquire top-tier vendor and industry-related certifications.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience relevant to the role.
• A minimum of 5 years in a pre or post-sales role within the IT security sector.
• At least 5 years of prior experience in security domains such as Firewall, IPS, DLP, SIEM, Application security, Web security, Cloud, and AI security.
• Familiarity with US regulatory compliance standards.
• Established track record in managing technical personnel.
• Ability to foster cooperation among peers through leadership, mentoring, management, and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in listening and effectively communicating with partners, prospects, clients, Account Managers, and management.
• Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter who does not need daily supervision.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willingness to travel within the United States.
• Preferred qualifications include CISSP or other professional certifications.
• Certifications with key technology solutions partners such as Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, CyberArk, Sailpoint, SentinelOne, Proofpoint, Netskope, Zscaler, etc.
