Regional Business Development Coordinator – Latin America, Caribbean

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• The Regional Business Development Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the design, negotiation, and management of proposals, ensuring timely reporting to donors and maintaining overall compliance with donor requirements.

• This role enhances the quality of grant management within the region by offering proactive support and advice to countries and the Regional Office (RO), collaborating with National Office partners on regional office grants, and ensuring data integrity in corporate systems.

• Additionally, the coordinator actively participates in local fundraising efforts for the Country Offices, managing relationships with regional corporate partners and providing encouragement and guidance to Country Offices regarding individual giving initiatives.

• The position also involves supporting the execution of the Regional Resource Mobilization Strategy by supplying intelligence, technical assistance, and customer relationship management to help countries expand and diversify their income sources.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in this field.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Affairs, International Cooperation, or related disciplines.

• At least 3 years of proven experience in grants management.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.

• Familiarity as an end user with corporate systems such as SAP and CRM.

• Exceptional time management abilities with the capacity to multi-task and prioritize effectively.

• Strong attention to detail coupled with problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational and planning capabilities in a dynamic work environment.

• A solid understanding of the international aid market in Latin America, along with experience working with potential donors in the region.

• Knowledge of various donor requirements and formats related to results frameworks, including Results Based Management or other Logical Frameworks.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.
