This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Ensure that healthcare professionals in the designated territory are informed about the harmful effects of hypophosphatasia (HPP).
• Build and sustain relationships with customers.
• Establish referral and diagnostic pathways.
• Develop and implement key account/customer strategies through Key Account Management (KAM).
• Collaborate effectively with medical partners and internal cross-functional teams.
• Enhance and maintain knowledge of the disease, diagnostics, and products to educate customers and promote action.
• Formulate insights-driven KAM plans for major accounts and treatment centers, focusing on decision-maker prioritization and situational analysis.
• Work cross-functionally to drive KAM initiatives and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to key partners.
• Utilize marketing tools and carry out promotional activities, programs, and regional congress opportunities.
• Organize and implement local and digital initiatives for customer engagement.
• Meet or surpass sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Present and uphold strategically focused KAM plans.
• Monitor activities and provide accurate and timely sales reports.
• Complete all assigned training in a timely manner.
• Manage time, CRM tools, resources, and workload effectively.
• Ensure continuous compliance with relevant requirements.
• Lead initiatives focused on customers and patients in collaboration with Marketing, Medical, Market Access, and Patient Advocacy teams.
• Partner with Marketing, Diagnostics, Access, and Medical teams to identify opportunities and formulate action plans.
• Travel regularly throughout Western Canada and occasionally to Ontario, which may include overnight and weekend travel.
• Align activities with relevant laws, regulations, and Alexion policies.
• Bachelor’s degree (BSc preferred).
• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in field-based sales.
• At least 2 years of experience in specialty-care sales.
• Proven track record of consistently achieving outstanding sales results.
• Demonstrated ability to access and cultivate professional relationships for scientific exchange and promotion with healthcare providers in both community and academic settings.
• Capacity to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Persuasive presentation style with the ability to uncover and address customer needs and manage concerns effectively.
• Self-driven, urgent, well-organized, and collaborative in problem-solving.
• Ability to build rapport and develop relationships with a varied customer base.
• Strong business, analytical, and clinical insight.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Western Canada and occasionally to Ontario, including overnight and weekend travel.
