This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +2 more states.
• Expand sales of Actus Nutrition Animal Nutrition products with both existing and prospective clients.
• Boost sales through established distribution channels while identifying and cultivating lucrative new markets.
• Enhance key existing accounts and uncover new business opportunities.
• Develop and implement 30-to-90-day strategies aimed at surpassing annual sales targets.
• Regularly engage with key decision-makers at major and potential clients to increase sales and market presence.
• Secure business from large dairy operations within the Actus Nutrition Animal Nutrition sector.
• Establish relationships with nutritionists, veterinarians, partners, customers, influencers, as well as large dairy owners and managers.
• Position Actus Nutrition Animal Nutrition products and services as leaders in the industry.
• Convey product value by comprehensively understanding product details, features, and advantages.
• Communicate customer and prospect updates with team members and leadership.
• Facilitate the use of presentations and marketing materials to enhance sales efforts.
• Report on competitor activities, new products, and industry trends to the team and management.
• Collaborate with the Customer Satisfaction Team to promptly address product and service issues.
• Oversee travel and business expenses to ensure optimal cost efficiency.
• Maintain direct communication with Actus-AN departments and external clients and industry contacts.
• Bachelor's degree in dairy science or a related field.
• 5+ years of preferred sales experience in the feed or dairy industry.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities with diverse audiences.
• Strong proficiency with PCs.
• Experience in business development and new business presentations.
• Solid grasp of the sales process.
• Strong customer orientation with the ability to make informed decisions.
• Self-motivated and proactive individual who can work autonomously while also collaborating as part of a team.
• Exceptional time management abilities.
• Skills to manage travel and business expenses effectively for maximum cost efficiency.
• Willingness to live in or relocate to the Lubbock or Amarillo, Texas area.
• Capability to manage a multi-state territory encompassing Texas, Kansas, and New Mexico.
• Travel is required 50–75% of the time.
