This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities while expanding existing relationships within the genetics and pediatric sectors.
• Collaborate with pediatric specialty contacts through consultative selling, education, and primary account management.
• Generate leads within the designated territory.
• Ensure physician and staff satisfaction with GeneDx's programs and services.
• Coordinate sales and service initiatives among GeneDx team members.
• Work with operations to ensure timely follow-ups and issue resolutions.
• Execute sales and marketing strategies.
• Support physician dinners, conferences, and special events.
• Build and establish new physician relationships through effective pipeline management and communication of value propositions.
• Consultatively promote GeneDx services, assess customer needs, and propose suitable solutions.
• Conduct both in-person and virtual client meetings.
• Spend roughly 4.5 days per week in the field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years in healthcare sales, ideally in a physician sales/services environment, or 2+ years of experience as a genetic counselor.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to promote multiple service offerings and business opportunities simultaneously.
• Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
• Proven track record of integrity and professional ethics.
• Team-oriented mindset focused on delivering quality patient care.
• Valid driver's license.
• Capacity to manage challenging situations and interactions effectively.
• Ability to work autonomously and efficiently manage time and territory activities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel as required, including some weekends, evenings, or overnight stays for conferences and special events.
