This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Create and implement a strategic territory plan aimed at achieving and surpassing revenue and referral targets.
• Identify, qualify, and convert new business prospects while enhancing relationships with existing accounts.
• Establish and nurture connections with key decision-makers within oncology and multidisciplinary practices as well as health systems.
• Collaborate with internal sales and business units on intricate opportunities, including those related to 340B.
• Facilitate customer discussions to grasp their needs and present customized solutions.
• Assist in launching new therapies and inform providers about specialty pharmacy resources.
• Act as a reliable advisor to oncology and multidisciplinary practices.
• Provide exceptional customer service through proactive communication and problem resolution.
• Conduct routine account assessments to showcase value and enhance engagement.
• Develop and oversee a high-quality sales pipeline while ensuring accurate CRM forecasts and tracking of sales activities.
• Evaluate successes and failures to refine sales strategies.
• Keep abreast of healthcare, payer, and oncology market trends as well as competitive positioning.
• Work collaboratively across functions to align customer needs with internal resources.
• Address customer concerns in conjunction with operations and leadership teams.
• Engage in oncology and rare disease education, conferences, and professional organizations.
• Cultivate relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers and key industry stakeholders.
• Travel to customer locations, meetings, and events up to 80% within the designated territory.
• A degree or its equivalent is required, typically with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• A four-year college degree or comparable work experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in healthcare sales and/or account management with high-touch customers.
• Demonstrated success in business development and account expansion.
• Exceptional negotiation, collaboration, and influencing abilities.
• Strong skills in relationship-building with healthcare providers and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and time management capabilities.
• Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% within the assigned territory.
• Experience in a matrixed, cross-functional work environment.
• Background in oncology, rare disease, specialty pharmacy, or related healthcare fields.
• Understanding of the 340B program and specialty pharmacy environment.
• Knowledge of patient access, reimbursement, and payer dynamics.
• A valid driver's license is required.
