Refractive Surgical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Offer regional on-label post-installation sales assistance and technical sales for WaveLight® products.

• Highlight premium procedural sales techniques.

• Provide support for WaveLight® Excimer, WaveLight® Femto, Contoura, Wavelight Plus, and associated consumables/disposables.

• Collaborate closely with WaveLight Managers, the Division Manager, and the Refractive team.

• Enhance sales initiatives, product adoption, and achieve set goals.

• Consult with physicians/surgeons, key opinion leaders, influential customer decision-makers, and internal stakeholders.

• Maintain a strong technical understanding of both existing and new surgical products.

• Achieve assigned regional sales targets.

• Fulfill management business objectives as directed by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly relevant experience (or high school +13 years; Associate Degree +9 years; Master’s +2 years).

• 5 years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English.

• Advanced knowledge and skills in ophthalmic surgery/technical areas.

• Experience in consulting within an Operating Room (OR) environment.

• Experience with refractive technologies consultation.

• Strong understanding of refractive diagnostics.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.

• A proven track record of sales achievements is highly preferred.
