This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Develop and assess project proposals and plans to establish timelines, staffing needs, resource distribution, project framework, and implementation strategies, while collaborating with Project Leadership to pinpoint and address project risks.

• Consult with project personnel to outline work plans, assign responsibilities, and define workstream scope, while actively reviewing status reports and adjusting schedules or plans as needed.

• Provide project status updates to management, clients, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Build and sustain effective client engagement with the client project team.

• Efficiently manage conflicts and ensure prompt resolution of issues that may impact project success.

• Proactively oversee the achievement of project milestones and sustainable outcomes to guarantee that results are delivered on schedule, in full, and within budget.

• Contribute to the delivery of training programs and serve as a mentor and coach for Operations professionals by offering performance feedback and supporting their development plans.

• Engage in or lead internal improvement initiatives as necessary and ensure team adherence to all internal policies and procedures.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in refinery operations management, demonstrating strong technical skills.

• More than 5 years of downstream experience successfully overseeing workstreams in Blending, Energy Intensity, Hydrocarbon Loss Control, and Value Chain Optimization.

• At least 5 years of experience with project management processes and methodologies.

• Lean Six Sigma ‘Black Belt’ certification is preferred.

• Proven track record in continuous process improvement.

• Advanced skills and knowledge in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

• Capacity to remain adaptable and effectively adjust to various working environments, and the ability to engage and motivate individuals at all levels of an organization.
