This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide referrals to local providers to guarantee clients are assessed within five (5) business days.
• Inform referral contacts, providers, and facilities about the procedures for management-initiated referrals.
• Ensure all necessary documentation is completed by treatment providers.
• Serve as a clinical consultant to providers to confirm that clients are directed to the most suitable level of care and/or services.
• Conduct follow-ups with clients, treatment providers, and referral contacts until services are completed.
• Communicate verbally and/or in writing with referral contacts regarding clients’ adherence to treatment, discharge planning, and aftercare services.
• Offer supportive counseling to clients when needed.
• Adhere to all guidelines and requirements as specified by the employer or federal regulations.
• Record all referral and clinical information in our database.
• Act as a bridge between clients and their benefit plan to ensure they have access to the recommended treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• CADC and full clinical license are preferred.
• Experience with EAP services and issues related to chemical dependency treatment is preferred.
