This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.
• Effectively organize and electronically file all legal documents and pleadings.
• Execute thorough title searches, updates, recordings, and filings.
• Conduct in-depth legal research, encompassing court records, real estate records, and background checks.
• Abstract records for both residential and commercial properties across various counties.
• Review and analyze deeds, easements, tax assessments, and other relevant documents.
• Confirm ownership and identify encumbrances on real property.
• Oversee loan closing files and prepare abstract leases.
• Interpret surveys, plats, Deeds of Trust, estate records, and foreclosure proceedings.
• Facilitate loan closings as required.
• Draft corporate, organizational, and commercial documentation.
• Coordinate the signing of contracts and ensure precise reporting.
• Collaborate with title agents to ensure smooth real estate sales closings.
• Supervise office operations and guarantee an efficient flow of information.
• Manage confidential information with discretion in a dynamic environment.
• Organize and prioritize tasks in alignment with the CEO's goals, including overseeing licenses.
• Maintain a strong Project Management system to monitor deadlines and requests.
• Prepare and refine correspondence, reports, and presentations.
• Serve as a liaison between the CEO and the management team.
• Delegate tasks and deadlines to the team as instructed by the CEO and verify completion timelines.
• Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3 years of C-Level administrative experience.
• At least 2 years of experience as a real estate paralegal/legal assistant.
• Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program is preferred.
• Experience in litigation practice; Risk Management experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of real estate acquisitions, sales, financing, title documents, surveys, and leases.
• Skilled in preparing closing disclosures, HUD, and closing documents.
• Capacity to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong ability to perform under pressure with excellent follow-up and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and projects independently, prioritizing deadlines effectively.
• Willingness to provide some after-hours support when necessary.
