This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Overseeing and facilitating projects throughout the site selection process.
• Analyzing market trends and monitoring competitors, retail activities, and growth patterns.
• Building and nurturing relationships with headquarters departments, community leaders, government officials, brokers, landlords, Build-To-Suit Developers, and vendors.
• Working autonomously and collaboratively, easily adapting to changes and tight deadlines.
• Acquiring sites to achieve the company’s growth objectives annually.
• Leveraging GIS systems for demographic analysis and modeling data.
• Negotiating Letters of Intent (LOIs) and assisting in lease negotiations.
• Keeping in touch with headquarters departments and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Expanding into new markets as directed by the Real Estate Committee.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience, is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate is required.
• Familiarity with build-to-suits, leases, land usage, development processes, building permits, and construction project management is an advantage.
• This role involves driving, with at least 40% of the time dedicated to travel.
