This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify prospective locations throughout the US based on market research and analysis.
• Serve as the primary liaison for third-party consultants, architects, and designers.
• Collaborate with the CEO and legal team to negotiate and secure beneficial terms with landlords and various vendors.
• Develop and manage essential broker relationships, advising them on site prioritization and negotiation tactics while monitoring pipeline progress.
• Oversee the submission and acquisition of project plans and permits from various local departments as required.
• Ensure expansion remains on schedule by assisting in the development and management of comprehensive project timelines, budgets, and financing arrangements.
• Facilitate coordination between external vendors and internal teams (Finance, Operations, Accounting, Supply Chain, etc.) to guarantee smooth openings of new locations and ensure all parties are informed of timelines.
• Connect the dots between real estate, executive vision, and daily operations, leveraging performance data and field insights to implement strategic modifications for current and future locations.
• Act as the ongoing central point of contact for landlords.
• As necessary, support internal teams, particularly Operations, with various real estate requirements for our cloud kitchen locations (i.e., those locations not "self-processing"). This may involve stepping up to assist with equipment procurement, project management, and coordination with cloud kitchen facility managers.
• Collaborate directly with the CEO on strategic real estate initiatives.
• At least 5 years of experience in real estate development, preferably within the restaurant sector.
• A combination of analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and operational resilience.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.
• A commitment to the importance of even the smallest details.
• A collaborative team player who seeks opportunities to contribute beyond the job description.
• Proven experience working collaboratively across an organization.
• Experience in a high-growth company is a significant advantage.
• Willingness to travel 1-2 times per month.
