This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
β’ Prepare and issue title opinions.
β’ Review title commitments and associated closing documents.
β’ Manage residential and commercial real estate closings, including purchases and refinances.
β’ Provide legal representation for both buyers and sellers during real estate transactions.
β’ Advise on title clearance, curative issues, and compliance with South Carolina real estate regulations.
β’ Coordinate with internal teams, lenders, agents, and clients throughout the transaction process.
β’ Act as South Carolina counsel for real estate and conveyancing matters as necessary.
β’ An active South Carolina Bar license in good standing is required.
β’ Candidates must currently reside in South Carolina.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate, title, conveyancing, or a related legal field is essential.
β’ Strong understanding of South Carolina title standards, recording procedures, and settlement practices is required.
β’ Excellent communication, organizational, and client service abilities are necessary.
β’ Capability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple transactions is important.
β’ Flexible schedule based on transaction volume and client requirements.
