This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Conduct daily reconciliations of trust accounts.
• Manage the processing of rental receipts, owner disbursements, creditor payments, and sales deposit transactions.
• Oversee bond payments, refunds, and adjustments to trust accounts.
• Review and reconcile trust ledgers, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
• Generate month-end trust accounting reports.
• Assist in preparing for NSW trust account audits.
• Ensure compliance with NSW Fair Trading trust accounting standards.
• Process supplier invoices and payment requests efficiently.
• Prepare payment batches for management approval.
• Monitor accounts receivable, following up on overdue invoices.
• Maintain precise records for suppliers and creditors.
• Address account inquiries from landlords, tenants, and suppliers promptly.
• Perform reconciliations for bank and credit card accounts.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records utilizing Xero.
• Issue invoices and allocate incoming payments appropriately.
• Assist with payroll, superannuation, employee reimbursements, and the preparation of BAS and IAS.
• Support month-end financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Organize and maintain digital financial records along with supporting documentation.
• Prepare both weekly and monthly financial reports.
• Monitor arrears, cash flow, creditor payments, and outstanding invoices diligently.
• Ensure that all transactions are thoroughly documented and approved.
• Provide support for both internal and external audits.
• Identify discrepancies and financial risks, recommending process enhancements.
• Uphold strict confidentiality when handling all financial data.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Australian accounting or bookkeeping.
• Prior experience in an Australian real estate agency.
• Proven expertise in Australian real estate trust accounting.
• Strong knowledge of NSW trust accounting and Fair Trading compliance.
• Proficient in using Xero.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines.
