Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Virtual Primary Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Oversee patient health requirements as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team through virtual primary care.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment and management plans that are suitable for the patient's age, acuity, and clinical condition via virtual health platforms.

• Conduct scheduled virtual consultations.

• Provide dedicated asynchronous In-Basket support for primary care providers who are unavailable.

• Engage in In-Basket tasks, workflows, and coverage for team members who are absent.

• Effectively triage and manage unfamiliar patients in a virtual environment.

• Navigate electronic health records while transitioning between scheduled video visits and asynchronous chart reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nursing Program.

• Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited PA Program.

• Nurse Practitioner: Valid RN and APNP license in the State of Wisconsin.

• Nurse Practitioner: Current board certification as an NP in Adult, Adult/Gerontology Primary Care, or Family.

• Physician Assistant: Valid PA license in the State of Wisconsin.

• Physician Assistant: Current PA board certification.

• Active DEA license or the capability to apply for such a license before or upon hire.

• CPR certification and advanced life support certifications, if pertinent to the practice area (ACLS, PALS, NRP).

• Proficiency in navigating electronic health records.

• Strong independent clinical judgment.

• Ability to safely triage and manage unfamiliar patients in a virtual setting.

• Flexibility between scheduled video visits and asynchronous chart reviews.

• Work schedule: 100% FTE, Monday–Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; no holidays or on-call duties.
