React Native Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

• Become a part of our team as a React Native Developer.

• Create mobile applications utilizing React Native.

• Work collaboratively with fellow developers and team members.

• Review code and provide mentorship to junior developers.

• Improve existing applications and systems to enhance performance.

• Engage in Agile development methodologies and ensure projects are delivered on time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with React Native for mobile application development, including the New Architecture (Fabric, JSI, TurboModules).

• A strong portfolio showcasing the development of complex, large-scale applications.

• Comprehensive understanding of client-server architectures utilizing RESTful APIs.

• Experience with Expo and both managed and bare workflow ecosystems.

• Familiarity with multimedia processing (audio/video handling) is advantageous.

• Proficient in TypeScript and contemporary front-end technologies.

• Experience with state management (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or similar) and navigation frameworks (React Navigation, Expo Router).

• Understanding of native module integration and performance optimization, including profiling with Hermes and identifying rendering bottlenecks.

• Conduct meaningful unit and integration tests; experience with Jest and React Native Testing Library is a plus.

• Regularly employs AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude) to expedite development.

• Critically assesses and tests AI-generated code prior to committing.

• Exhibits a commitment to shipping: breaks tasks into small, reviewable increments and transitions features from specification to functional code swiftly.

• Comfortable making practical trade-offs; recognizes when "good enough now" outweighs "perfect later."

• Strong written English skills; adept in asynchronous, remote-first environments.

• Proactively identifies blockers: communicates issues clearly and promptly, offers solutions or asks specific questions. Never remains silent on a problem for extended periods.

• Experience in Agile settings; comfortable with rapid feedback cycles and scope adjustments.

• Possesses a problem-solving mindset with a focus on detail and code quality.

• Self-motivated and organized; manages priorities independently without close supervision.

• Proficient with Git, including branching strategies and code review practices.
