R&D Test Engineer – High Voltage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Develop and carry out test campaigns for high-voltage and high-power systems.

• Establish test protocols in accordance with project specifications and certification criteria.

• Collaborate with laboratories and project stakeholders to orchestrate testing activities.

• Oversee and assist in testing procedures alongside laboratory specialists.

• Evaluate test outcomes and compile technical documentation.

• Address technical challenges and aid in devising effective resolutions.

• Enhance testing methodologies, processes, and initiatives for knowledge dissemination.

• Provide support for global research and development projects focused on high-voltage switching technologies.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.

• Proven experience in testing, research and development, laboratory settings, or power systems engineering.

• Familiarity with electrical power systems and the principles of testing.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication capabilities.

• A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and work collaboratively.

• Proficiency in English and basic German skills (or a willingness to acquire them).

• Availability to travel up to 30% of the time.
