R&D Supplier Governance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide support for Amgen-sponsored clinical trials on a global scale.

• Ensure proper governance and oversight of equipment and ancillary suppliers.

• Collaborate with senior management and engage with internal stakeholders and suppliers to enhance processes.

• Concentrate on Equipment and Ancillary suppliers, with some involvement in customs and logistics.

• Maintain quality oversight of suppliers by partnering with them and internal customers to address issues concerning supplier performance.

• Organize and execute supplier governance meetings, tracking key performance indicators, and managing and mitigating risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience OR Associate’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience OR High school diploma / GED with 10 years of relevant experience.

• Preferred Qualifications: BA/BS/BSc in the sciences or RN.

• 7 years of work experience in life sciences or a medically related field, including 4 years of experience in biopharmaceutical clinical trials.

• Experience working with or overseeing clinical research suppliers.

• Familiarity with CE marking, 510(k) clearance, and other device regulation requirements.

• Experience with customs (import/export) and logistics.

• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP), FDA regulations and guidelines, as well as international regulatory requirements/guidelines.
