This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Handle incoming customer service calls and conduct some outbound follow-up calls in a courteous and service-focused manner. Ensure calls are answered promptly without any drops or abandons.
• Identify the purpose of the call and assist the caller with their inquiries, concerns, or issues, prioritizing first call resolution. Facilitate resolution by directing the matter to the appropriate issue/content expert. Escalate the issue to a supervisor, gather necessary information, or take suitable actions to enable the issue expert to resolve the matter efficiently.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in an inbound call center or customer service setting; experience or knowledge in hospital patient account billing with familiarity in third-party reimbursements from insurance companies and government payers is advantageous.
