This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact for designated clients, proactively addressing their inquiries and concerns.

• Develop and sustain robust relationships with healthcare providers and other stakeholders.

• Organize regular meetings with clients to assess RCM performance, discuss challenges, and align on financial objectives.

• Provide continuous education to clients on RCM processes, industry developments, and regulatory updates.

• Monitor and evaluate essential performance indicators (KPIs) such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), Denial Rates, AR Aging, and Net Collections.

• Recognize trends and implement strategies to enhance revenue collection and reduce delays.

• Collaborate with internal teams involved in billing, coding, and collections to ensure prompt claims submission, payment posting, and follow-up actions.

• Tackle payer issues, reimbursement obstacles, and operational hindrances.

• Formulate and execute action plans aimed at improving clients' financial results.

• Ensure adherence to industry regulations (HIPAA, CMS, payer policies) and best practices.

• Deliver comprehensive reporting and insights on revenue cycle performance.

• Work alongside leadership to refine workflows and boost efficiency.

• Investigate and resolve client-related issues concerning claims, payments, or system inefficiencies.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to promote process enhancements.

• Identify automation opportunities and technology upgrades to streamline operations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management, medical billing, or healthcare account management.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a comparable amount of professional experience.

• Proficiency with RCM software (e.g., ModMed, Epic, Athena, eClinicalWorks), payer portals, and reporting tools.

• Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding (CPT, ICD-10), insurance verification, and reimbursement processes.

• Understanding and familiarity with ProFee coding for ambulatory care practices.

• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.

• Experience in financial reporting, data analysis, and KPI tracking.

• More than 3 years of experience supervising staff and managing workflow operations.

• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.

• Capacity to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer; ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally.
