Rave eDC Designer Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kenya.

📋 Description

• Assist in the configuration and enhancement of Medidata Rave eDC systems.

• Modify and improve global libraries in accordance with study needs.

• Construct study frameworks, datasets, and system elements.

• Ensure data accuracy, adherence to regulations, and operational effectiveness across various studies.

• Employ the Designer module within Medidata Rave eDC.

• Revise and upgrade existing global libraries.

• Set up study components in alignment with protocol specifications.

• Maintain uniformity across multiple studies.

• Create and adjust data objects.

• Develop shapes and activity datasets.

• Define and oversee Study Structures.

• Establish the Schedule of Activities (SoA).

• Manage code lists and derivations.

• Program standard edit checks.

• Validate data accuracy and compliance.

• Identify any system discrepancies or inconsistencies.

• Implement study-specific logic.

• Design and execute Custom Functions (CF).

• Address programming needs specific to studies.

• Enhance system logic and automation processes.

• Collaborate closely with clinical, data management, and technical teams.

• Resolve issues related to the Designer module.

• Provide ongoing technical assistance.

• Support multiple global studies concurrently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated practical experience with Medidata Rave eDC (Designer Module).

• In-depth understanding of clinical trial procedures and eDC systems.

• Experience with setting up study structures, SoA, datasets, and code lists.

• Strong knowledge of data objects, shapes, edit checks, and derivations.

• Substantial experience in developing Custom Functions (CF).

• Familiarity with CDISC standards and Controlled Terminology.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Understanding of clinical data regulatory standards.

• Experience in global or multi-study settings.
